Looking for a horticulture intern for this summer at Coastal Maine Botanical Garden. The internship will begin in June and end in late August. This is a hands-on internship where the student will spend a summer along the Maine coast learning about gardening in a temperate, coastal climate. The internship is paid and the intern will get the opportunity to rotate and work with all of our horticulture staff. This person will learn the essentials of plant propagation, planting, watering, and pruning along with other gardening skills. In addition, the intern will learn about collections management and plant mapping. We will have several field trips throughout the summer and the intern will have a project along with the responsibility of contributing to the CMBG blog. $10.00 per hour.
