Dr.
Mike Arnold, President of ASHS – American Society for Horticultural
Sciences, and Professor of Landscape Horticulture and Associate Head for
Undergraduate Programs,
Department of Horticultural Sciences, TAMU will be giving a seminar for
the Department of Horticultural Sciences this Thursday April 2 at 4 p.m. in HFSB 104.
His seminar is titled: “Evolve or Become Extinct - The Challenge for
ASHS." Dr. Arnold’s talk will focus on the current
state of the ASHS, visit some of the challenges facing our profession
and society in the future, and conclude by examining some potential
opportunities for Horticulture and ASHS.
