Have you been an Intern? If so, you're eligible!

It’s that time of year again! GPN and Nexus Corp. are once again calling for applicants for our annual GPN/Nexus Intern of the Year. For the past 12 years, GPN and Nexus have teamed up to recognize a deserving college student who has completed a floriculture-related internship. We want other students, universities and floriculture companies to learn about these successful interns to help our industry prepare its next generation of professionals. The GPN/Nexus Intern of the Year will receive a check for $3,000; travel and lodging to 2013 OFA Short Course in Columbus next July; a full registration to Short Course compliments of OFA; and a feature article about him or her in the January 2013 issue of GPN. I have listed all of the qualifying criteria below for the intern scholarship and I have attached a one-page handout that you can pass along to any college student you know who might be interested in this program or post for students to see. There is NO application form to fill out and the deadline for applications is Oct. 22, 2012! If you or any students have any questions about the scholarship program, feel free to contact me.
