The 26th Annual Southern Gardening Symposium
(SGS) scheduled for January 27 - 29, 2013 at Callaway Gardens. We are
offering a student scholarship to one outstanding horticulture or landscape
design student to attend SGS free of charge. The student also will be able
to bring a major professor of his or her choice to the Symposium free of charge.
The
Southern Gardening Symposium is a three-day garden program geared toward
gardening in the South. Program includes optional in-depth workshops or
garden tour. Speakers include Dick Bir, 2011 Liberty Hyde Bailey Award winner,
Tovah Martin (Infusing the Garden with Personality), Norman Winter (Hot New
Plants and Captivating Combinations), Vincent Simeone and many more.
The
symposium registration fee and lodging costs for both the student and professor
are included in the scholarship. Transportation to and from the symposium
will be at the expense of the student and professor.
