Howdy! Looking for an opportunity to get your work published?
Explorations: the Texas A&M Undergraduate Journal is calling all continuing Texas A&M undergraduates who are conducting a literary, research or scholarly project to submit a proposal for consideration in Volume 7! Specific writing instructions and submission guidelines can be found at tx.ag/SubmitToExplorations.
Submit your proposal (maximum of 250 words) at tx.ag/ExplorationsScholastica
by Thursday, January 29, 2015 at noon!
2014 CoverExplorations provides an opportunity for undergraduates to publish articles of general interest based on their research findings or scholarly activity. The target audience includes faculty, staff, and students of Texas A&M University, other institutions of higher learning as well as parents, former students and current high school seniors. If your proposal is chosen, you will be invited to write an article (1000-2500 words) describing your work and its significance in a manner accessible to a broad audience. Invitations will be announced in February 2015 and will include further guidelines and procedures. Full articles are subject to a second round of review, and successful submissions will be published in Volume 7 of Explorations, to be published in Fall 2015. Submissions are welcome from all disciplines and all Texas A&M University System undergraduate students involved in literary, research or scholarly activity. Team project submissions are welcome! Explorations will also be accepting creative pieces until Wednesday, March 4, 2015. For more information, please visit tx.ag/SubmitToExplorations.
If you have any questions, please contact Explorations’ Executive Board at explorations@tamu.edu. We look forward to seeing your submissions!
