is a new $1000 scholarship, the Kate Hillhouse Undergraduate Scholarship, offered to junior and senior level undergraduates
majoring in biology, botany, horticulture, landscape design, or related
fields with an emphasis on Texas native plants or the ecosystems of

Second
is the Anne Miller Gonzales Graduate Research Grant of up to $2000 for graduate students conducting academic research
related to Texas native plants and/or to the conservation and
restoration of native-plant habitats in Texas. One grant is awarded
annually.
